BitUVisc viscometer

Omnitek introduces the newest member to the U-Visc family of fully automatic viscometer systems. Specifically developed to cover sample types which pose great challenges to automatic sampling, measurement and cleaning, because of their high pour point and viscosity.

Omnitek 'BitUVisc' is a programmable, fully automated kinematic viscometer specially designed to handle highly viscous samples at higher temperatures. The system can process samples with viscosities ranging up to 100.000 mm2/s and allows testing up to 165ºC. It fully complies with ASTM D445 and ASTM D2170 standards.

There are 2 different models available: 110 and 120. BitUVisc 110 features a single thermostatic bath with 1 viscometer tube whereas BitUVisc 120 model holds 2 viscometer tubes in a single bath. All BitUVisc instruments are equipped with auto-sampling, preheating, fully automated dual solvent cleaning and drying. 
Samples can be introduced using either vacuum or pressure, depending on the sample type. All surfaces of the viscometer, including the outside bottom, which is in contact with the sample, are thoroughly cleaned and dried using solvents and air. 
Omnitek BitUVisc requires a PC for operation (not included). For data collection, storage, calculations and reporting, an advanced PC application is provided with the instrument, which can gather data from up to 4 instruments simultaneously.
