 Working Principle 

•Step 1: Collimated composite light  is incident on the flat surface of the mechanically ruled grating.
• Step 2: When light passes through or reflects off the dense, mechanically carved parallel grooves, it undergoes diffraction  and interference—different wavelengths of light bend at different angles.
• Step 3: Each wavelength of light converges at a specific position, forming a clear, ordered spectrum , achieving precise wavelength separation.
• Key Feature: The mechanically controlled groove spacing  determines the dispersion effect—the smaller the spacing, the greater the dispersion, and the clearer the separation of adjacent wavelengths.
